Arba’een observation kicks off in Saudi Arabia By: Abdulali AL-AWAMIYAH, Saudi Arabia: Programs to mark Arba’een Al-Hosayni began on Wednesday 17th of the month of Saffar in eastern parts of Saudi Arabia. Black mourning banners, inscribed with condolence statements in the respect worthy court of Imam Al-Asr (may Allah hasten his reappearance), have been hanged in all streets and hosayniyaat. Majales Al-Azaiyah and Latmiyaat, or the mourning sittings and performing of chest beating, were in continuation in all mosques and hosayniyaat. Throngs of mourners attend and speakers highlight the significance of the occasion of Arba’een. Ash-Shabal Al-Hosayni arranged a three-day program at Al-Abbas Mosque in Al-Awamiyah that began on Saffar 17 and will last on Saffar 19. END Imam Hassan (p)’s martyrdom observed in Saudi Arabia
