RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: Three-day Jashan-e-Murtazavi programmes in connection with the birth anniversary of Amirul Momineen Hazrat Ali ibne Abi Talib (A.S.) began throughout the country on the call of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafaria Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi.

Mahafil-e-Milad, conferences and seminars were organised by different religious and Matmi organisations. Ulema, waizeen and zakireen in their addresses termed the pious seerat of Maula-e-Kianaat (A.S.) a sign of survival of humanity and a source of getting rid of the oppressors. Mahafil Jashan-e-Murtazavi were held in Lahore, Karachi, Faisalabad, Larkana, Haiderabad, Mirpur Khas, Kherpur Meeras, Sakkhar, Mianwali, D.G.Khan, D.I.Khan, Muzaffargarh, Skardu, Multan, Peshawar, Quetta, Tank, Muzaffarabad including Federal Capital Islamabad, Rawalpindi and surrounding areas.

Syed Bu Ali Mahdi, Central Chairman MSO Pakistan, addressing Jashan-e-Murtazavi seminar organised by Majlis Farogh-e-Hussainiyyat said Maula Ali (A.S.) is the only personality throughout the whole universe who has the honour of being Maulood-e-Ka’aba. He said being a deputy (Wasi) of Rasool-Ullah, he preached unmatchable lesson of knowledge, wisdom, bravery and generosity that is an example for the whole humanity to follow even today.

Allama Muhammad Abbas Zaini, Chairman Wahdat Ulema-e-Pakistan, in his address said all people in problem and difficulties consider Maula Ali (A.S.) as their Mushkil-Kusha (one who resolves problems) who helps all without any discrimination. In the present era clutching the Daman-e-Haider Karrar (A.S.) is need of the hour for rooting out all problems faced by the Muslim Ummah. He said if the Muslim Ummah follows the seerat of Ali ibne Abi Talib (A.S.) then not only all problems and difficulties of the Islamic World would be resolved but every conspiracy and mischief of the international colonial powers could also be thwarted.

A resolution adopted on the occasion strongly demanded from the government to make fool-proof arrangements for improving the law and order situation viz. country-wide programmes of Jashan-e-Murtazavi from 11-13 Rajab-ul-Murajjab, and people should themselves be alert, recognise their friends and foes and keep a strict eye on miscreant elements.

It demanded from the government to take care of national festivals and special days of Mashaheer-e-Islam because on the date that has been fixed for local body elections in different districts of the country, the Jashan-e-Murtazavi programmes would be on peak during those days throughout the country.

The resolution made it clear that 13 Rajab is the birth anniversary of Hazrat Ali ibne Abi Talib (A.S.) that is respectable for all Muslims because Hazrat Ali (A.S.) is agreed upon caliph of Muslims, like Allah is not linked with any particular group, similarly Rasool-e-Khuda (SAW) is the Aqa and Maula (master) of the whole universe and Ali ibne Abi Talib (A.S.) is the symbol of knowledge and awareness, Rasool (SAW) is Madina-tul-Ilm (City of Knowledge) and Ali is Baab-ul-Ilm (Gate of Knowledge) and we could get rid of all our problems and difficulties by following their pious seerat.

Addressing Mehfil-e-Murtazavi at Danishgah-e-Jafariya, Maulana Syed Qalab-e-Abbas Bokhari said Hazrat Ali Al-Murtaza (A.S.) is that great respectable personality which is respected by all schools of thought alike. The objective of Hazrat Ali (A.S.) was to restore justice and fair-play and rooting out oppression and violence and he spent all his life in achieving his pious mission. He said the name of Ali (A.S.) is source of encouragement of all broken hearts even today and is the symbol of victory and success even in great trouble.

Mehfil-e-Milad in connection with Jashan-e-Murtazavi was also held at Imambargah Dhoke Kashmirian. Zakir Abdul Ghaffar and others addressed.
