ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Birth Anniversary of Hazrat Imam Ali Al-Hadi (A.S.) was observed with religious and national spirit on Tuesday throughout Pakistan like other global parts in connection with Universal Ashra-e-Mawaddat on the call of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi to express solidarity with oppressed Lebanese people.

On this occasion, Mahafil-e-Anwaar, conferences and seminars were held at mosques, imambargahs and religious institutions in all small and big cities and towns while protest rallies to express solidarity with Lebanon's oppressed and Israeli brutalities were taken out. Addressing these gatherings, ulema-e-karam and speakers threw light on seerat of Imam Ali Al-Hadi (A.S.).

Hundreds of little white-shrouded children staged a protest against Israeli barbarism in front of Islamabad Press Club Office organized by children wing - Mukhtar Generation - of TNFJ district Islamabad. Protestors were holding different banners, placards and portraits of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Hamid Moosavi.

Addressing the demonstrators, central leader of Mukhtar Generation Syed Aun Abbas Kazmi termed Israeli aggression and attacks against Lebanon as "weakness" of Muslims and expressed his deep grief that Islamic world despite being riched with all kinds of resources get decisions of their fate from Washington.

Syed Mushahid Kazmi in his address said Beirut is presenting scene of Karbala at present where hungry and thirsty children, women, old and young are target of Israeli beasts. After Kashmir, Palestine, Afghanistan and Iraq, Israeli Yazidi oppression is on height in Lebanon backed by United States and Britain. Even the tragic event of martyrdom of innocent children in Qana two days back could not stop Israeli attacks.

Today on the occasion of birth anniversary of Hazrat Imam Naqi (A.S.) we the members of Mukhtar Generation have gathered here to express solidarity with oppressed Lebanese people on the call of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Hamid Moosavi. he quoted a saying of leder of Islamic revolution Hazrat Ayatullah Khomeini that if every Muslim puts a bucket of water on Israel, it will sink in the sea.

Another little activist of Mukhtar Generation and renowned speaker Syed Ali Zeb Kazmi while addressing the demonstration said we have gathered here on the call of our dear leader Hamid Moosavi to express solidarity with our oppressed Lebanese brothers. He voiced grief on martyrdom of innocent children in Qana and strongly condemned Israeli barbarism.

He said Israel is that beast which has torn humanity in Lebanon. He demanded from Muslim rulers that if they are afraid of fighting against Israel then they must arrange our departure to Lebanon. We are servants of Hazrat Ali Asghar (A.S.), will lay down in front of Israeli tanks but will never let it to occupy Lebanese soil.

Raja Muhammad Raza also addressed.

A resolution adopted on this occasion urged United Nations, ICC and other world organizations to take immediate steps to stop Israeli aggression, declare Israel aggressor terming it war criminal, get immediate unconditional ceasefire and withdraw allied forces from Iraq, Afghanistan, Kashmir and Palestine. The resolution condemned Muslim States which have not done anything to render support to Lebanon.

At the end of the protest, little demonstrators torched Israeli flag chanting slogans against Israel and United States.

Mahafil and rallies were also held in Karachi, Lahore, Faisalabad, Haiderabad, Multan, Mianwali, Jehlum, Peshawar, Sakkhar, Quetta and other cities according to reports reaching TNFJ Ashra-e-Mawaddat Committee office.
