HOLY CITY OF QOM, Iran: Where different organizations are holding Hosaini majales and azadari programs, there maraje and Ayaat also organizing Hosaini sha’a’ir – holding majalis-i-aza, performing chest-, head-beating, reciting elegies, shedding tears and many other acts that signify deep grief marking martyrdom of Abi Abdillah Al-Hosain (a.s.).

Daily majales-i-aza are held at Beit-osh Shirazi in the holy city of Qom. Religious scholars, intellectuals and Al-Hozah Al-Ilmiah students attend. Different speakers including Sheikh Riahi, Sheikh Almi, Sheikh Jawanmard, Sheikh Begdily, Seyid Hosaini address.

13-day marasem-i-aza are being held at the office of Grand Ayatullah Sheikh Mirza Jawwad At-Tabrezi. Hojjatol-Islam val Muslimeen Rajayi and Hojjatol-Islam val Muslimeen Abdulhosain Vaezzada Khorasani address these majales al-Hosain (a.s.).
