Holland hosts magnificent Ghadir festival

THE HAGUE, Holland: To celebrate Eid-ol Ghadir, the
day of appointment of Al-Imam Ali bin Abi Talib (a.s.) as first
infallible successor of holy Prophet (s.w.), Shiia Muslim Youth
Association organized a celebration in Holland on Friday 27 Jan.
Speakers, in their addresses, threw light on the event of Ghadir that
took place on 18 of dholheja, the 12th month of Islamic calendar.
Eulogies were recited in praise of Al-Imam Ali (a.s.).
Large number of followers of Ahl-ol Beit (a.s.) attended the
celebration held at Rotterdam Islamic University.
Dinner was served at the conclusion.
It was first festival organized by the association after its formation
recently.

HOLY CITY OF QOM, Iran: Marking Eid-ul Velayah Eid-ul Ghadeer, the day when Ameer-ul Momineen Hazret-e-Ali (a.s.) was declared first infallible successor of the holy Prophet (s.w.) on the commandments of Allah, special festivals were held in the holy city of Qom and Ispahan like other cities.
