Words of Imam Ali (AS) on the Heart

I am amazed at the heart of man: It possesses the substance of wisdom as well as the opposites contrary to it ... for if hope arises in it, it is brought low by covetousness: and if covetousness is aroused in it, greed destroys it. If despair possesses it, self-piety kills it: and if it is seized by anger, this is intensified by rage.

No poverty is more distressful than ignorance.
No wealth is greater than reason ('aql).
No personal virtue is better than good manners (akhlaq).
Be kind to everyone and harsh to no one.

Sayings of Imam Al Hassan (AS)

* Whoever fears Allah (adopts piety), He (Allah) paves for him a path of salvation out of the trials, and directs him (onto the right path) in his affairs, and facilitates his (path) of guidance. And makes his proof (and arguments) successful. And enlightens his face, and grants him his desires. He is with those upon whom Allah has bestowed His favors from among the Prophets, The Truthful, the Martyrs and the Righteous, and an excellent company are they.

Golden words of Imam Ali Murtaza (AS)

1) You will not find an ignorant man save he is wasteful and excessive
2) As intellect becomes more complete words become fewer
3) One who places himself as a leader for people should begin with educating his own self before others and his training of others should be through his conduct before his tongue. A teacher and an instructor of his self is more worthy of exaltation than one who is a teacher and an instructor of others

Pearls from Hazrat Ali (AS)

1) The punishment of involving yourself in the love of material aspects is the deprivation of true love for Allah.

Golden words from Holy prophet (PBUH&HP)

1) The Prophet (saww) said: I am like a man who kindled a fire and when it lit up the place, the moths and the creeping insects began to fall into it. Come away from the Fire.

Praise and Eulogy is for Allah for the blessing and bounties, which He has bestowed. Imam Mahdi (a.t.f.s.) in the eyes of Hazrat Ali (a.s.)

Indeed I have been requested by al-Hasan, peace be on him, (to give him) things and I have given things to him. All of them are now under my foot. And from now on I will not fulfill anything."
