Worth of pilgrimage of Hazret Fatimeh Masumeh (A)

Hazret Fatimeh Masumeh (A) the Blessed and the Gracious Divine Lady from the Holy Ahlul Bayt (A) was born in the holy city of Madinah on the First Day of the month of Zee Qa'dah 173 A.H. His holy father was Imam Musa al-Kazim (A),the Seventh Holy Imam and Imam Reza (A),the Eighth Holy Imam was his elder brother.

8th Shawwal- A day of grief and sorrow

On 8th day of 10th month of Islamic calendar that is Shawwal, Wednesday, in the year 1344 AH, (April 21st 1925) the mausoleums in Jannatul-Baqee’ in Madinah were bulldozed by the Aal-i-Sa’ud (Saudi rulers). In the same year i-e., 1925, King Abdul Aziz ibn Saud also demolished the tombs of holy personages at Jannatul-Mu’alla in Makkah Mukarrama where the Holy Prophet (S.A.W.)’s mother, wife, grandfather and other ancestors are buried. This day is indeed a day of grief and sorrow for all Muslims.

10th Ramadan - The demise of Hazrat Khadijah-tul-Kubra (SA)

'And find you in want and make you to be free from want (through Khadija's wealth)' (Al-Quran).
Hazrat Khadija (SA), the wife, the companion and the friend of Muhammad Mustafa (PBUH), the Messenger of Allah, and the benefactress of Islam and the Muslims, fell ill. Her illness was brief and fatal. All her life she had lived in the midst of abundance and luxury but the three years of exile had been a time of excessive austerity for her, which inevitably took its toll.

A brief commentary on Dua al-Iftitah

Du' al-iftutah was taught by or twelth Imam (a) for Shi'as to recite every night during the month Ramadhan, The Du'a is excellent for moulding man's attitude towards his Creator as it discusses many aspects of the wrethedness of the human being, and the grace of Allah. Abu Hamzah Thumali (RA) was a close companion of Imam Zain-ul-Abideen (AS). This dua narrated to Abu Hamzah Thumali by the 4th Imam Zain-ul-Abideen (AS).He has related that during the month of Ramadhan Imam Zain-ul-Abideen (AS) used to spend a greater part of the night in prayers and when it used to be the time of Seher he recited the following dua. This dua has been recorded in the book Misabh.

Qassim (AS) - reflection of Rehana-tor-Rasul Al-Hassan (AS)

Hassan ibn Ali ibn Abi Talib (AS) had said one day: "Brother Hussain, a day will come when Islam will need to be saved by sacrifice. Hussain, I will not be alive on that day, however my son, Qasim will be there. It is my wish that Qasim should represent me on that day."
